2009 promises to be an exciting year for computing@coleraine with a number of developments in various areas.

Our new BSc programme in Financial Engineering conbines the study of computing and mathematical modelling with disciplines such as trading, hedging and investment. Click here for further information

Our programme of computer games events for schools and colleges gets under way with a Games Fair and Competition on Thusday 19th February. Following this, on Wednesday 17th June, we are hosting a Xbox 360 Development Workshop. Click here for further information

The FORTIFY Project aims to encourage students to study Computing and Engineering at the University of Ulster, specifically those who would normally encounter barriers to following this route. Under the project, up to 8 bursaries are available for students on the Integrated Foundation Year in Computing at Coleraine. Each bursary will meet the full fee for the course. Recent Developments Conference: CASI 2010
The 2010 Conference of Applied Statistics in Ireland (CASI) will be hosted by the School of Computing and Information Engineering and will take place in the Ramada Hotel, Portrush from the 16th to the 18th May, 2010. The conference is organised under the auspices of the Irish Statistical Association.

Games Fair and Competition
The Creative Computing Group at Coleraine hosted an event in the Octagon on Thursday 19th February. The latest Xbox360, Wii and PS3 games were exhibited, with multiplayer competitions running throughout the event.
