Research at Coleraine spans a wide range of disciplines within Computer Science, including Artificial Intelligence, Internet Systems, Agile Computing, Computer Game Design, Software Engineering, Image Processing and Mathematical Modelling. This activity is organised through a number of research groups within the Computer Science Research Institute

A Research Seminar series provides a forum for researchers and postgraduate students to present and discuss their latest work. External speakers also feature in the series. The programme for the current semester is currently being finalised and will be announced here in due course

All researchers in the School play a part in the wider research community through publishing in academic journals and presenting at national and international conferences. A full list of publications generated by the School is available by selecting the Publications link in the menu on the left.

The School is involved in a number of trechnology transfer projects, including consultancy activity, spin-out companies and collaborative work under the KTP and FUSION schemes.
