Applications
Entry RequirementsCandidates will, in the first instance, enrol for a Postgraduate Diploma and will normally be expected to have: at least a second class Honours degree in Computer Science or in a related discipline which includes a significant component of Computing Science from a University of the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland, or from an institution of another country which is recognised as being of an equivalent standard; or an equivalent standard in a Postgraduate Certificate or a recognised professional or other qualification or provide evidence of their ability to undertake the programme through the accreditation of prior experiential learning. Candidates should be competent programmers in at least one high-level programming language, preferably Java, knowledge of which is assumed and used throughout the programme. They must also provide evidence of competence in written and spoken English.

There is no official closing date, but applications (particularly from overseas) should be made before the end of July for commencement in mid-September.
