Semantic Analytics and Applications
In this project we aim to develop a generic framework for semantic data analysis which applies to various forms of data, especially text and video. In particular we will study semantic representation schemes, analysis of semantic representations (e.g. emergence of meaning), and semantic mapping from data to meaning. The framework will be embodied in a semantic analysis software tool, which will be evaluated on artificial and real data (e.g., text, video or sensor data streams).
