Situated within the School of Computing and Mathematics on the Jordanstown Campus the Smart Environments Research Group undertakes a range of research in the areas of pervasive computing and ambient assisted living.

The Group’s strategy is strongly aligned with local, national and European initiatives in the development of technologies for independent living in an ageing society.
